Tom’s story
After almost 20 years as GIS product specialist at ESRI, Tom started Hasselbeck Industries especially to work on a project with the US Marshal Service. Since then, he has worked with companies across the globe on software solutions and services. Tom has a lot of experience in development communication — translating what the users are saying into words the developers understand. He also knows how to build an effective user interface and how to improve a tricky one. He specializes in geospatial solutions for public works sectors—especially mobile solutions and drone data collection.
Jen’s story
Jen spent fifteen years working for Esri Press, making training materials including books, manuals, and online ancillaries. She also created static and animated presentations, technical illustrations, and interactive publications for tablets. Jen is an expert in graphic design and creating instructional materials for print and digital delivery. Over the past few years, Jen has developed video training for a number of clients, ranging from screencasts to full animation.
